4. Screening call with a recruiter
5. VC with hiring manager <- This part was very telling. Interviewing is a 2-way street. I asked the hm to describe the team and department. Hm was monotone. A distinct change in the convo. Said there wasn't much to share bc the team was new and hm was new to the company <6mo. At least sell me on something! But I walked away with nothing good and that the person was not happy in their role. I later found out on LinkedIn that the person changed companies so not sure what was going on behind the scenes.
