I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cloudera (Austin, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
After applying online, HR reached out to me for a pre-screen the same day. The gentleman and I got along famously and related to each other on products we had both sold and how it would translate nicely into the Cloudera team. He said that he was going to recommend I be moved to the next round and to speak with the hiring manager and I would receive a call by noon the next day to confirm if I was in fact being moved on.
It has been 3 weeks and I still have not heard from HR. I have called and emailed.
I was upset as the pitch was that Cloudera wants to ensure no candidate gets lost in the shuffle and they like to let the candidates know exactly where they stand in the process. Very disappointed as I feel I would've been a great fit.
