HR screen then discussion with hiring manager. Things were going well with hiring manager until he explained to me that Cloudera was NOT profitable. After some research I surmised that their business model was no good and decided to withdraw my application. HortonWorks, a competitor to Cloudera, has seen its stock tank since its IPO. Based on what I'm reading I suspect Cloudera will run out of financing in the next year or so and the IPO will never even happen
