I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudera in Oct 2016
Interview
It starts with an initial phone interview with an internal recruiter explaining the process and setting the expectations. It is followed by five interviews. The first one with the hiring manager is a general conversation about Cloudera, the role, and your experience and personal goals, with some specific/technical questions. The second and third interviews are business or technical questions with future peers. This is followed by a general and technical conversation with the regional manager. There is also a 1 on 1 conversation with an Account Manager. Finally, it ends with a 30 minutes presentation in front of some of your previous interviewers followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
Each interview is about 45 minutes.
Every person you talk to is here to see you succeed. Treat each interview the way you would treat a customer meeting, answer the best you can and simply say when you don't know an answer.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Cloudera (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Mar 2018
Interview
Meticulously thorough recruitment process covering complete skills spectrum as well as social and personality aspects. A technical in-depth interview and presentation were part of the process. Process is aimed at hiring he right person for the right role and the new recruit will be a good fit for the organisation.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudera (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had received a call from the recruiter to go over my back ground. We had discussed my experience and technical aptitude. The recruiter was comfortable with my skill level and wanted pass me onto the hiring manager. Secon interview was with the hiring manager and we spoke for at least an hour going over my background, talking about solutions and use cases for big data. I had a great conversation. The hiring manager and I both felt comfortable. The next step was to meet the rest of the team. In order to meet with the team I had to travel to San Francisco. The Recruiting Coordinator did a great job in setting up my travel arrangements (booking my flight, setting the schedule, and constantly in communication). Recruiting Coordinator pays attention to the little things (i.e. goodie bag) which goes a long way.
I met with the Vice President and discussed the opportunity and went through my background and skill set. I enjoyed our conversation and felt comfortable to ask any questions.
I also met with three colleagues to have a technical conversation around the product. The conversations were not so much question and answer but more having a conversation around use cases in a technical manner.
I left the interview feeling confident and comfortable working for Cloudera. No one was trying to ask difficult questions we were having a great conversation and that s what I enjoyed about the process.
