Following my final interview with the Hiring Manager (one from the top level of the organisation) at Clarivate, I experienced an unsettling period of silence lasting four long months. Throughout this extended period, my attempts to contact the recruiter were met with non-responsiveness. When she did respond, it was often accompanied by a litany of excuses, ranging from vacation time to the unavailability of the Hiring Manager.
Strangely, she consistently claimed that the feedback from all rounds of the interview process had been exceptionally positive. After persistent follow-ups over the course of four months, I was eventually informed that the hiring manager had proceeded to the next stage with another candidate. This abrupt conclusion left me bewildered and deeply disappointed. The level of ghosting and unprofessionalism that I experienced during this process at Clarivate was surprising and disheartening.
