It was good interview war brief. Help me for interview align process very soon.
HR was very helpful to to possess the interview as soon as possible, whenever I’m trying to get in touch with he response very quickly
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cialfo
Interview
Cialfo asked for multiple-round interviews (with the recruiter, with the hiring manager, and with the highest management). They then ghosted candidate despite constant follow-up attempts. It was super unprofessional. Not recommended!
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cialfo (Singapore)
Interview
4 rounds of interview (reporting lead, co-worker, CEO/founder, co-worker)+ 1 initial call with Recruiter.
Initial call with recruiter was straightforward but felt a little dubious when the recruiter was trying to justify the reasons to join them (given that I had just applied, definitely meant I was interested and keen). Response time was quick throughout. Mentioned at the start that I would need 3 rounds = 2 culture, 1 technical (w reporting manager). The initial 2 rounds were great - met people who really know what they are doing (functionally) and why they are doing (industry impact).
It all went down a little during the 3rd Rd. Interviewer identified the company as Tech and not Edtech, when the company's main business and clients are in education. Asked if I had seen the cultures and values of the company and which are the ones I identify with, but it was not published on their site or Linkedin. Since it didnt go too well, I was recommended to go for another round of interview, with another stakeholder. During this time, I read updated reviews of the company here and confirmed my intuition about the culture and way of hiring. The fact that I didnt meet another person from the founding team, but someone who is reporting to the previous interviewer, felt like the decision was already made before the interview happened. I received the outcome shortly after the final interview and it was not surprising at all.
Its a great company with a great product, but after my final interview, I had already decided that the culture would not be suitable for me, based on the way they hire. I wish the best for the company.
