I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chubb (Edmonton, AB) in Aug 2025
Interview
The first screening interview was by HR. Asked basic BQ and administrative questions. Then ask about transformer, LLM, and RLHF which I don't have much experience of. They stopped asking tech questions once you failed. It feels weird to have non-tech person to ask tech questions. They only wants the answer they were given. Told me that they would reach out after a week, but it was nothing. I did an email follow up and they respond fairly quickly (waiting manager return to the office) but still ghosted me in the end.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chubb in Jul 2025
Interview
2 round of interviews, mostly discussion was around GenAI, Finetuning, Prompt Engineering, transformer arch., and Agents. One should know in depth of atleast one of the shared topic along with minimal knowledge of other topics.
