Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Melbourne, FL) in Jun 2013
Interview
Pretty easy interview process. It was a new store so there were open interviews. I went in and talked to the manager. He asked me a bit about myself, why I wanted to work at chipotle, and what I know about the company. That was the biggest question because they want to make sure you know everything about the business and their "food with integrity" mantra and where all the food comes from. Got called in for a second interview where I just recited all I memorized from the website and was hired on the spot.

Question 1
They really want you to be detailed when they ask what you know about the company including the CEO and the ladder up the company
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
