I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle
Interview
The initial process was rather speedy. Got called in for a personal interview with a general manager and got asked questions that focused on the Chipotle back story and founding. Got called in for a second interview with a second manager that asked pretty much the same questions and said that he'd get back to me within 3 days whether I got the job or not. However, it was over 4 weeks before I heard an answer, and the only reason I got an answer was because I was calling repeatedly for one. That was extremely annoying.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Make sure you know each individual item on the menu.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
