I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chaophraya (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Jun 2021
Interview
Applied via Indeed, was contacted by the manager to go in for a short interview the following morning. He told me the process was a short interview, following by an offer of a trial or not, then after trial a job offer may or not be made.
Interview was very relaxed and informal where a girl who interviewed me said I had skills they were looking for and it was great that my availability fitted their needs and she offered me a trial there and then. I gave her my availability and was told I'd be contacted as to when i could come in the following week for my trial. Today, 3 days after interview I'd still not had a call so I emailed them to which I got a reply from the guy to say the girl enjoyed meeting me however my application was unsuccessful??? I replied to say I was offered a trial at interview so what had changed since then?
I'd have thought such a nice establishment would have better communication between each other but clearly they don't. Why offer someone a trial and give false hope only to change your mind? I evidently have all the skills you're looking for but obviously you guys aren't reading from the same script.
Thankyou for wasting my time.
