I got an interview via a recruitment agency. I was given a week to prepare for the interview. I had to create a power point presentation with 3 slides on it - 1 about me, 1 about my previous work experience and 1 about why I think the role is suitable for me.
I did nothing but stress about this interview because I've never had to do a presentation before and after my research on the company I really wanted the role (lol). Although Im good with presentations I was just more nervous because it was for a job....
On the day of my interview I arrived at the office a bit early but I was seen pretty much straight away. The 2 ladies that interviewed me were really nice and we all got along very well, I felt instantly relaxed after a minute or so. They asked me what I knew about the company and what I knew about the role, then they did a small presentation to me which explained what the company do, who their clients are, a bit more detail about the role I was applying for and information about the team I'd be working with. I then did my presentation and was asked numerous question throughout it.
I was in there for around 50 minutes and left feeling very positive. They advised me that they'd already interviewed one person and had another one to interview the following day. I heard back from the agency 2 days later, unfortunately they went with someone that they felt had a bit more experience than me.
The company itself seem like a great company to work for. They offer good benefits, lots of in house training for various things, they seem keen to help you progress within the company and with Bournemouth I was told there is limited parking on site but if you cant get parked there you will be given a parking permit for a nearby car park.
Good luck for anyone going for an interview - they seem like a great company to work for.
