      Account Executive Interview

      Dec 1, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tampa, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cayuse (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2020

      Interview

Had an HR screening interview which was thorough and illuminating for both of us. Second interview was with Sr Director of Sales for hour long virtual interview.. she answers my questions and was thorough in covering my background, sales process, experience. At end of interview I was told there was interest and next step was meeting with VP of Sales I sent follow up email, two calls to recruiter, last interviewer. No response. I would not recommend this company based on their follow up.

      Application

I interviewed at Cayuse in Feb 2021

      Interview

I met with several members of the sales leadership team during the interview process. The interviewers were all well prepared, had great questions and provided helpful information about Cayuse. The interview process concluded with a panel presentation. In every interview, I had the opportunity to ask questions and the next steps in the process were explained.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cayuse in Apr 2020

      Interview

Applied online. Recruiter got back to me within a few days and said my first interview was with the "hiring manager" which was a 3rd party individual who knew nothing about the company, role, or expectations of the role when I asked questions. Said he "reported directly to the CEO" when I expressed confusion over what exactly his role was. Next interview was with VP of sales who was nice yet no nonsense. The NEXT interview (3pm-6pm) was a panel interview with the recently hired sales manager, VP of sales again, and an operations manager. I had a vague outline to present a powerpoint on the Grants industry to the sales manager and VP. I was told the internals were to discuss and have a decision in 3 to 5 days.... and that was the last I heard from anybody from that company. If I sucked during the interview, thats fine. A simple, generic email of "we have decided to go with another individual" would have sufficed. No feedback is worse than negative feedback. Shows the level of professionalism and how they probably treat their customers. Dodged a bullet.
