General get to know you. I prepared outline stating clearly that I needed the first six months to do research since this organization was 1) not known to be a non-profit and considered by the community to be a for profit. 2) that there was no feasibility plan conducted, no communications plans, no business plans, no development plans. 3) that they were in all reality a START-UP and that the normal time to structure and get up an running a development division of a new company is 3 years ( just like a business) so research and planning had to be done ( just the same as business planning)
