First round was with the CTO. He joined late and didn’t seem very interested in the call. He asked a single DSA question and when I tried asking questions about the company, he responded with one-word answers without explaining anything further.
The second round was a System Design interview. The interviewer repeatedly interrupted me and asked follow-up questions before I could finish explaining my approach. In the middle of the discussion, he abruptly asked me to design something completely different even though the first design discussion wasn’t finished. Within about five minutes of switching topics, he wrapped up the call and ended the interview.
Overall, the interactions in both rounds felt unprofessional and dismissive. Based on these experiences, it seemed like there might be broader behavioral or communication issues across the team.
