I received a call from the recruitment team informing me that my CV had been shortlisted and that I was invited to attend a face-to-face interview at the Capgemini Patni office. However, upon reaching the venue, I was met with a long queue due to the absence of a proper token system for candidates who had received prior email communication. This led to significant delays and confusion. After finally receiving a token and proceeding to the interview location, I was informed that my CV had been rejected during the screening process. This raised a serious question—if my profile was not suitable, why was I invited for an in-person interview in the first place? This process not only caused unnecessary inconvenience but also reflects poorly on the coordination between the screening and interview teams. I sincerely believe that such mismanagement could be avoided by ensuring proper screening before scheduling interviews, thereby saving the candidate’s time and effort.
