I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capco (Glasgow, Scotland) in Nov 2023
Interview
The interview process was quite speedy, and had three stages- HR pre-interview, and two actual interviews. This was done in just over one week and everyone was lovely.
Then the cracks appeared... I was told that I would hear by Monday 20th November but heard nothing. I eventually chased, and had to chase several times for any update. I was then told that I had "passed the interviews" and I should have a formal offer by Friday 1st December. No updates or responses.
My case was then passed onto another HR person who was supposedly the person they call when there are problems as my original HR person was leaving. (In retrospect, this was also a red flag) I was then told that the second person would call me on 15th December, which they did. I was told that I would have an update soon. I then received a call on 2nd January telling me that I would have an offer email by the end of the week. Unsurprisingly, I have received no such email.
After being given the run-around throughout this- I almost wish I hadn't passed the interviews as the net result is the same but I would not have felt as angry at being disrespected and having my time wasted
