I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Nov 2020
Interview
CAPCO really is NOT the company any graduate should want to work for! LOW starting salary and RUDE recruiters. I rejected my offer after I realised that the company couldn't even muster up a decent recruitment process for the programme. Delayed responses and the people interviewing couldn't even be bothered to wear smart clothing. One interviewer kept asking personal questions that were completely irrelevant.
The interview process was smooth however there were a number of overlapping questions during both the assessment centre and final two interviews. There were no financial questions really, just questions about trends in the industry and challenges the industry is facing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are some current trends on the industry?
What kind of projects would you enjoy working on?
Very efficient process, took around 1 month and 3 weeks to go through CV - group case - individual interview - offer.
Group case is not standard consulting case interview, more close to "given a clear situation, bring out the best solution through teamwork".
Individual interview is quite straightforward comptency/fit questions. Why capco, why you, walk me through you CV etc.
Video interview consisted of straight forward questions: Introduce yourself, Why consulting, how your experience is beneficial for the job etc however then there was 10 seconds to prepare for final question with no chance to rerecord.
3 interviews total - program was canceled in the end due to budget constraints. Case study was quite vague but people seemed knowledgeable. Overall a pretty neutral experience but disappointing because of cancellation.
