I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at CVS Health (Merrick, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
You enter their office, they sit you down, and you answer some questions as they look at your application. You don't have to do much to apply. There was another senior worker in the office, but only the senior manager asks you questions. They seem intimidating, but it's mostly an act.

Question 1
Can you work night shifts? What is your social security number? We're very busy, do you think you could handle it?
Very informal. I suppose it will differ by site. Mostly concerned availability and any past research experience. I found my interviewer to be very easy going and enjoyed the process.
