The CVS team postponed the interview at the last minute, and I was flexible in accommodating the change.
The session began with a few questions about my background, followed by a coding challenge on StackBlitz. The task involved creating a loop of items, adding a text field to filter them, and implementing sorting functionality. I was allowed to use Google during the exercise—something I appreciated, as it reflected real-world development conditions. I completed the challenge successfully without difficulty.
Toward the end of the interview, I asked about the technology stack currently in use. The interviewer struggled to provide details, which suggested limited familiarity with the environment. Shortly afterward, I was informed that I had not been selected, with no feedback provided to explain the decision.
Ultimately, both the recruiter and I came to realize that the process had been a waste of time. It appeared that CVS was not genuinely looking to hire, but merely going through the motions.
I would not recommend interviewing with this company.
