I applied online. I interviewed at CGI (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
Basically I received an email asking to schedule a phone interview, I replied giving my exact time and availability. BUT the professional missed my appt. completely and did not even seem to realize their failure. I followed up with an email and phone calls, eventually getting to schedule a PI.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you value your own personal work space or do you value working with others? They ask this question because CGI tries its best to cut costs and have people work from home as much as possible. Though there is some form of office work at the actual downtown SF office.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CGI (Lafayette, LA) in Sep 2018
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. We spoke casually for about 30 minutes about the job, and connections we have. Then I had a phone interview with some of the team members. I was unaware that it was a technical interview until afterwards. Then I met with my current boss in person for what seems to be a final 'fit' interview. Then, I waited for 3 weeks for an offer, contingent on a background check. That took a little over a week. Then you have to start on a Monday. So, my first interview to my start date took just over 6 weeks.
