What a joke. Got through the first two interviews in a breeze, they seemed excited and wanted to move me forward asap, next the recruiter has me set up the 3rd interview. I set it up, then she calls me an hour later to tell me the vp of sales is out of office and I have to book it a week and a half further out. So I wait patiently almost 2 weeks for the interview. Then the day of this interview, an hour before it starts, she calls me to tell me they’re changing the process and I’ll just be interviewing with the founder. So I set that up for 5 days later. That day comes and she cancels the meeting an hour before, once again and tells me he’s traveling (traveling is something you would know well before an hour prior to the interview). Anyway, finally have 2 more interviews with a current BDR and the founder, both make it seem like they love me and want to move forward. They send me to the final which was 2 cold calls (with zero explanation and zero help, no prep materials on the companies ICP, value prop or anything), I have the cold calls and they email me a couple hours later telling me they’re not offering me the position. I responded and asked for feedback and they can’t have the decency to give me some feedback after spending 2 months going through a process that could’ve taken 1 week. I genuinely think they had me do the calls as a formality and planned to offer someone else the position.
Whatever, saved me the time going to work for a dishonest company. (Director of sales & recruiter told me their current BDR averages 30 meetings a month and that exact BDR told me face to face, you’d be lucky to book 12-16).
