I applied online. I interviewed at Buck Mason (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
A very informal interview that took place standing in the back of a cramped store room. Very casual in tone. I was told I would here back within a few days. I heard no response even after a follow up email was sent. Additionally, I had trouble even getting the interview scheduled. An all-around lack of communication and professionalism that was disappointing to see in a brand I like.
Interview was relaxed but to the point, asked a lot of questions regarding style and how I personally approach style & taste in my day to day life.
Post interview I was told I would be getting a second interview however I have heard nothing back despite following up and being told the hiring manger would reach out to me.
Interview process was efficient. From applying to starting in the role it was 3 weeks total. Met with the location lead to interview and focused on sales and tailoring skills.
