      Property Manager Interview

      Dec 1, 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbia, MO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Brookside (Columbia, MO) in Nov 2014

      Interview

I first had a very brief phone interview. I was then asked to come for an in person interview for which I would be driving 2.5 hours. At the interview, it was very unprofessional. We sat on lounge couches in the front seating area. 4 individuals from the company were present. Two of the gentlemen were on their phones the entire time and the female was laying back on the couch. The gentleman who did the majority of the talking only asked about my former company and processes in which it was difficult to answer as I was not wanting to "give trade secrets". It appeared they were more interested in how much information they could get from me regarding how I would do things and how my former company did them as opposed to my experience, skills and what I could offer the company. When I asked what specific property the position would be at, they said they didn't have one yet which confirmed my suspicions regarding my reasoning for being there. Very unprofessional and would not suggest wasting your time.
