I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bridgewater (Princeton, NJ) in Sep 2018
Interview
First-round, on-campus: Before the interview, we were instructed to come up with a philosophical question, read excerpts from Principles, and complete a Hirevue as well as an extensive personality test. During the interview, the candidates (there were four in my time slot) debated the questions we'd come up with while the interviewers (we had three) took notes and occasionally posed questions/follow-ups.

Question 1
Our questions were: What is art? Should voting be mandatory?
The interview process at Bridgewater was an interesting experience to say the least. Far away from what I was expecting in an interview from a hedge fund. I feel like you either like it or you don't but I actually enjoyed the more abstract nature of the interview.

Question 1
If I could press a button to stop the technological frontier as I know it, would I press it? Why/why not?
