I applied online. I interviewed at Brava (CA) (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
HR was 15 minutes late for the phone interview, received a call after emailing her and asking whether she would like to reschedule. She managed to cut the call within 4 minutes, even though it was scheduled to be 45 minutes long. Absolutely no description/explanation on the company or role, not to mention any time given to ask questions. I am pretty sure she did not even have my resume at hand based on the questions asked. If you've changed your mind about a candidate, please just cancel the call to avoid wasting people's time.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brava (CA)
Interview
I was contacted by a third-party recruiter to set up the initial phone screen. The conversation lasted about an hour but overall went well. She asked about 10-15 questions that were pretty standard/relevant to the role. At the end of the conversation, she wanted to schedule me for an on-site with the Chief Content Officer, which turned out to be another phone interview. Ok, no problem. Two days later, the CCO informed me that they were going to extend the current consultant's contract "through the holidays" but that they would like to keep in touch. Seriously?! I understand things change, but why get a candidate excited about an opportunity/waste their time if you had the slightest intent to extend an existing contract? Overall, I'd say a little transparency goes a long way.
