I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booking.com in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was very positive in my experience. The staff interviewing me were very friendly and helpful throughout the interview. They made sure to listen carefully to my answers, explain the questions in more detail whenever requested and asked further questions when they felt like they needed more information. I did not feel uncomfortable or tense at any time, even though the conversation lasted close to an hour. The interview was conducted online, through Zoom, and I received feedback very promptly by phone. The questions were varied, focused on aspects ranging from details on my experience to personal values and knowledge of the company.

I applied online. I interviewed at Booking.com (Preston, North West England, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
Very detailed but also well led interview by people who know how to make you feel relaxed and welcome. Very good experience allround with enough time to present myself and find out whether I'd fit the roll

Question 1
Name one of the situations where you had the feeling that you grew as a person?
I’ve passed first online assessment. Then I was told in phone screening that “they’ll arrange interview” so I was waiting but there was no contact.
I contacted again to see the status and the recruiter told me that “the position is OVER”.
“Thank you for reaching out.
I think it was an old message. The recruitment process for the position you applied to is over.”
We say in English “closed”, not “over”.
It was worst experience ever with recruiters ever I’ve ever seen on job search.
It looks they are now even struggling to follow and manage the normal procedures aligned with basic manners/commonsense, and the performance of the employees are very unprofessionally done.
This company has been slowly destroyed by the current CEO.
I don’t think she can even perform her job in normal level when she leave the company. That’s what the company is doing.
She looks she doesn’t know what recruiters normally do and was just messing around.
The questions she has asked me is as I mentioned. The funny fact is there were no questions really to be a reason why I can get rejected. Also the online assessment I’ve done is something that has been used for many years, I’ve done that before and I’ve got a job from this company before for more difficult position actually. It’s been 6 years. During that time, company has changed to be focused on more revenue than people or customers. That has clearly changed, while using exactly same content of assessment.
