After sending your application through a job portal (I did it through LinkedIn's easy apply function) I first went through a short phone screening interview. After that, I had an interview with a couple of prospective senior colleagues, another interview with my to-be manager and one with an HR manager. A recruiter will be checking your progress through the interview process, basically asking you how each interview goes. Once the last interview was over, I waited a bit over 3 weeks for a decision to be announced. All of the interviews were conducted from Amsterdam or London (screening.) I missed one interview as I got confused with the time difference, but they were kind enough (and interested enough I guess!) to reschedule it. Different time slots will be offered for each step. For the phone interviews, make sure to charge your cellphone :)
