      Accommodation Service Executive Interview

      Mar 16, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Booking.com (London, England) in Mar 2017

      Interview

I have been called to their office in London. - presentation of "how great and cool company" they are - language tests - group activity ( a bit childish) -role play (quite easy if you have experience in customer support) - individual evaluation- 15 minutes. You "eat" all the brainwashing about how cool company they are and how amazing conditions and that you have to be HUMBLE! One more slave for them. Already disappointed from the first part. I did not see them very humble anyway as the female recruiter was the typical standard type of BAD recruiter who wants to make pressure and she has been totally transformed to the opposite of what she said at the beginning..that they are cool. NOT cool at all. At the first bit they tell you, you do not need to know anything as we will give you training and if you know something they do not like it. There was also a question if i have worked with targets and it was clear from my CV that I have not such an experience. I told them that I have not(as they said you need to be real and HUMBLE) and then they wanted to question that and I answered that not all jobs with customer service do have this. Very fake faces and people that they do anything to go higher and higher .. I have 3 years experience at a similar environment at the end I m happy they did not hire me. Horrible attitude worst Recruiters ever that they reflect the real nature of the company, too. Especially if you consider the fact that they make you go their office from another city with few hours notice. Not mentioning that the salary was less of what they mention on the phone the day before the interview. Will never book with them again. Support the hotels people! not these people. Do not worth it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      - How do I adapt at ever-changing environments -If I have worked with targets -Why do I want to move to London (where the company is?) the position is only for 6 months...(with ironic face) (???????)

      Interview

First you have phone interview. Then you nearly spend whole day for the assessment. They put you in groups, lots of scenerios, lots of role play. If you can survive that dog eat dog steps you have a pretty relax interview with one of the seniors there

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Imagine you receive a call from a guest who just arrived to her hotel with her 2 kids after 10 hours flight and hotel can not accommodate the family. How would you talk to her on the phone? Then you and this Senior start to talk to your imaginary phones.
