It felt like they were trying to extract scientific knowledge/protocol from my work and apply it to theirs without ever considering me for an actual interview. No behavioral questions asked at all, only asked about very niche and oddly relevant scientific questions for personal interests.

Question 1
If we are currently attempting to determine the structure of MHC-peptide complexes and any binding interactions of small molecules/proteins with such complexes, what software would you suggest for us to use and what AI/ML methods can you take to approach this problem?
I applied online. I interviewed at BlueSphere Bio (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Arrived at interview and was immediately put off. The man who called me to schedule an interview was not there. Interviewed with several people and could immediately tell none had seen my resume before and was confused on the process themselves. The lead interviewer immediately knew I was not for hire at this company and was on her phone the entire process. I took off of work for this day and wish they let me know beforehand they did not want to move forward with me. Was a waste of time for me and them.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlueSphere Bio
Interview
Recruiter contacted and had a phone call with recruiter about job description, they asked about salary expectations. Then interview with the hiring manager, after that interview with team members all together.
