I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BlueChew (Austin, TX) in Dec 2025
Interview
Started with a video call for an initial screening–all went well. I was then scheduled for a second round virtual interview for the following week. On the day of the scheduled interview, the interviewer never showed up. Fifteen minutes into the "interview" I contacted them and they let me know that my interviewer was called into an "emergency project" and could not attend. I went ahead and rescheduled for another interview later that week. The interviewer did not show up AGAIN. This time I emailed them letting them know that if they were not on by the end of the hour I was done. They apologized and jumped on the call within 20 minutes. The conversation was rushed and awkward. I could tell nothing was planned. I also found out during this interview that the job description was incorrect–I would not have accepted an interview with them if I knew the actual details of the job. I received a rejection email the following week.
Overall, it was messy, disrespectful, and a huge waste of my time. They kept emphasizing that they were eager to hire, yet it seemed like their team could care less about their candidates' time. Should have read the reviews on here before I agreed to meet with them.

Interview
The HR person was not very friendly and I don't think they smiled once throughout the whole screening. They described the office and that they provide lunch as they expect employees in office 5x/week. It is an ED pill company and the type of people who work there seem to fit the demographic pretty well; macho, MAGA-centric.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BlueChew (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2024
Interview
I actually interviewed with their parent company, Meds.com, for a job based in Chicago. I had a phone interview with a very nice person from HR. Then I had a video interview with the COO and the HR Director. The COO was polite but was wearing a backwards baseball hat during our video interview. Then I talked to the HR Director via video for 10 minutes. She looked miserable and angry during our interview and asked me maybe 3 questions. She was very rude. I knew after that video interview that I would not be moving forward, even though I meet all of the qualifications of the job. They need to think more about how they treat candidates during interviews.
