Ruby On Rails Software Developer Interview

      Sep 12, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Coding

      Interview

Basically what they do is waste your time. Before I started the interview process I asked for a confirmation that the client was already waiting for the candidates and they said yes (because I know how the outsourcing companies works). I decided to give it a shot and started the process, wasted 1.5 hours in a tech interview, answering tech questions, and resolving an exercise in a live coding session, and the other day, guess what? They said that the client was no longer hiring more developers.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me to create a URL shortener app on live coding

We're sorry to hear about your negative experience during our interview process. We value feedback from candidates and strive to provide a positive experience for everyone. Please note that our interview process can vary depending on the specific needs of the client looking to hire. This means that the questions, format, and overall experience can differ, and, sometimes, they will change their minds about the roles they're looking for - affecting the timeline of our process. We appreciate your understanding and would be happy to discuss your feedback further if you'd like.
