I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bit Reacto (Hunt Valley, MD) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had a total of three interviews, from the HR interview to the team interview, and the questions and interview process weren’t that difficult. However, after the final interview, I had to wait for a few weeks until the other candidates' interviews were finished, and that was the toughest part. I often wonder what it would have been like if they had told me the reasons why they didn't choose me, if that was the case.

Question 1
I don’t remember the exact questions, but I think they were generally related to the position. The atmosphere during the interview seemed a bit formal.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bit Reacto in Sep 2023
Interview
The interview felt pretty standard, though it felt a lot less of a conversation and more of an strict interrogation of my skills and experience. However, there were moments that the interviewer would go off on long tangents about his experiences and opinions of the game dev industry and this would happen with enough frequency that it would hijack the interview. Bit Reactor is made up of veterans of the XCOM series so it helps to have played those kinds of games. I got the feeling they were looking for someone with more technical skills than I had.

What are three golden rules for level design? What are some technical challenges you've faced in prior projects? What happens if you add this feature to X game?
