Interview
The interview process at BinSentry was relatively straightforward. I received a call for an interview just a few days after applying. The building has been recently renovated and gives a modern impression. I prepared extensively beforehand, doing a deep dive into the company and its products.
The process typically begins with a brief phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with HR and the department lead. A third-stage interview with additional team members is also mentioned as part of their process. The questions asked were fairly standard, covering both general and role-specific topics.
However, as a startup, it seems there may be some uncertainty on their end regarding the specific qualifications or profile they’re seeking in candidates. HR appeared to be highly selective in assessing responses, despite not being directly involved with the technical aspects of the role.
One area of concern was the noticeable lack of diversity. It’s unclear whether inclusivity is currently a priority, but it did raise questions about how open the organization is to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
