Started very well, good interviews with HR and ED. Tech test wasn't difficult in terms of content, but rather in terms of being given a blank slate and a simplistic spec that can feel misleading in a "is this it?" kind of way and second-guessing any stack choices or shortcuts you take along the way. Process turned for the worse with a delay in the evaluation of the test followed by declining to meet to evaluate the tech test, which felt like an insult to the time expended on it. Feedback indicated that the test itself was satisfactory, but was curved out vs. other candidates on features not asked for or, in one case, explicitly stated as out of scope for the test. Position remains open months later, which is unsurprising given the petty standards of the tech test evaluation.
