Interview
Very smooth process. First was a phone screen with an engineer who was super helpful; it was actually a fun interview. I loved that it used an external API, so there were real network calls with all the uncertainty and error handling that come with that. After passing, I was invited to an onsite, which included a coding round, an experience interview, and a system design round. Everyone was super down-to-earth and kind, and after I received an offer, they worked with me on all my questions and gave me time to think through the decision. For personal reasons, I had to decline, but the entire experience (from the recruiter to the interviewers to the CEO and CTO) was great.

Interview
An HR call over video and then a technical round where you do a leetcode quesrion. Responses are quick via email so it can be done quickly and over 1-2 weeks.

Question 1
A normal leetcode medium-hard. They said they don't care about how optimized the code is, just that it works. My thought process was clear and my code was working as expected and I still got a prompt rejection so that's likely not true.
