Interview
They directly mailed me the procedure of hiring and sent me an excel test which was suppose to be completed within a week. But then after 2 days they mailed me that they have already hired someone else and they won't be continuing the process. I am already working and i gave my time to this task and they just mail me that they already have someone in 2 days. Is that how recruitment process works for them?

Interview
There were several steps of the recruitment process.
- Excel test
- 2 short phone interviews, one with the direct manager and another with the CEO of the company
- Face to face interview with HR and the CEO
- Skype call to make a 10 min presentation on the product based on information provided on their website

Interview
I worked on their Design Assessment, canceled important conflicting appointments and invested long days preparing for the first interview call, because I really needed the job. All of that to receive an email only 3 hours ahead the interview call canceling it.
I am deeply disappointed about how they have handled this process because I truly believed in the company and in this opportunity. Their actions make me think that the BaseCase team is actually just using the hiring process to receive design proposals for their internal design challenges, as the GlassDoor reviewers claim.
