I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Bamford (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was extremely drawn out and completely unprofessional.
I had an initial call with HR followed by a Teams call with the hiring manager. There was not much structure to the interview and fairly easy questions around experience. I was then invited to do a second interview which involved a project. This interview had to be rearranged due to teams schedule which I do understand however when I arrived at the rearranged interview one member wasn’t there as was called away to the farm. After waiting another couple of weeks I was called back to another interview but it was not communicated with me that I would need to present my task again to the other member of the hiring team. After heading to the office for a 4pm meeting I was met with a challenging attitude that she was too busy and couldn’t be bothered to see me. Questions asked in the interview felt like they were trying to get information on supply base and strategies from my previous company. After then waiting another few weeks I was told I did not get the role. The whole process took nearly 8 weeks with little to no communication.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bamford (London, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview took place in a relaxed atmosphere at the cafe on the upper floor of the company's organic shop, where I had a one-on-one session with the team director. It was a completely informal setting, and after the interview, we even had a comfortable conversation while touring the operating store.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bamford (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
I had an expectation for a company like Bamford. The process was entirely unprofessional. I got to the second and final round and the interviewer (Louise) was incredibly rude, unprofessional and gave off a real sense of a toxic work environment. Never in my working career have I ever experienced anything like it, and I have worked for difficult people. Incredibly disappointing that a company that suggests they are about wellbeing, would treat potential employees like this.

Question 1
There were no questions, it was Louise berating my CV and talking about her experience.
