I sent my resume via an online source and was contacted for an interview within a week. I met with one employee for a brief in person interview and was given a basic skills and cataloging test, part of which I had to take with the interviewer sitting right in front of me, staring at me, which was quite awkward.
The test questions seemed a bit discriminatory and designed to weed out anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or for whom English is a second language.
I was offered the position a couple of days after the in person interview. I chose not to accept because the position involved standing on your feet for 40 hours a week and was physically grueling for very low pay (minimum wage). I was also turned off after doing more research and learning that it is run by Mormons in Utah. As a gay person, I felt I could not work for a company whose leadership I ideologically disagree with on LGBTQ issues.
