I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BB&T (Lynchburg, VA) in Dec 2011
Interview
Applied online. Then had to pass an online module dealing with cash counting, basic math and problem solving ability. Was contacted by corporate HR for phone screening, then was placing in contact with branch manager and came in for an informal interview. Met one last time with manager and her boss in a more formal setting and received an offer.

Question 1
A lot about customer service experience, tell us a time when you faced a difficult customer, tell us about how you solved a problem. Will ask about being detail oriented as well.
Relaxed but professional interview process. Hiring manager was incredibly informative. Expectations of the position seem very clear. I was offered a position but turned it down for another opportunity. Would absolutely recommend BB&T to a fellow job seeker!
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BB&T
Interview
Normal Interview. I enjoyed it. Met with a market leader to answer questions on the culture and what I would do in certain situations. Straight forward and honest interview. Gracious market leader.
Telephone interview about 10 minutes, then in person interview. Was called for second interview about 5 hours after, very laid back second interview with team leader. She was very nice and friendly, asked simple questions
