The whole process took about 3 weeks. To start off, the recruiter was very nice and attentive. I received regular communication from her and was always kept up to date with the status of my application. She was the highlight of my experience. I initially did a brief call with the recruiter and then was moved to a Teams interview with the hiring manager and HR director for the US. The interview wasn't too long and they were flexible with the time. At some points the hiring manager would cut me off while I was answering to move on to the next question and that made me more nervous because it felt like I was saying was too much at some points. I was moved to the next interview, which was with the hiring manager, IT Director, CEO of Rokstone Underwriting, and the Managing Director. The IT Director asked some very weird gotcha questions that often didn't make sense. The Managing Director barely got a word in during the interview because the CEO decided to spend nearly 75% of the time harping on the small gaps in my resume and the amount of roles I've held in the past. I was able to answer the questions he had but this made for a terrible candidate experience. I spent more time trying to atone for my past roles than actually focusing on this role. There was so little time left at the end that I barely had any questions.
