I interviewed at Atlas Collective (Watford, East of England, England)
Interview
Quick, good communication and friendly interview, she was very nice and encouraging. The interview was very long though, thought it would last 45 minutes lasted an hour because she was doing a presentation
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Atlas Collective in Apr 2025
Interview
I received an email and text to schedule an interview - I never even applied to this company - I have a detailed excel sheet - so I have no idea where this email came from and have never seen the job description.
Here's one of the texts they sent me 'Hi. We are looking forward to our video call on Apr 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM. Please confirm you’ve received the confirmation email. Best regards, Marina' What is going on here "you’ve"
Regardless they asked to schedule an interview the day after I applied, I did for 2 days after and the "interview" was literally a screen recording playing with nobody from the company present, of a woman talking about how wonderful the company is but not a single detail about what the job is. When the video was finished the call automatically ended and I then received a link to a questionnaire that I had to complete inorder to move to the second stage of interviews.
Then after I completed the questionnaire I got an email asking me to outline how my experience and hobbies will help me bring something to the company, in order to move on to the second stage of interviews - by this point I had already looked at their website and saw they do 'face-to-face marketing'; which when someone stops you in the street and asks "Do you have a minute to talk about xyz". So before spending my time answering more questions I emailed the recruiter and asked if it was an office job or on the street. She said 'Thank you for reaching out. Understanding the nature of the opportunity is essential. While the opportunity is primarily office-based, there may be occasions where engaging with people directly will be necessary.' and sent me a link to book my second interview. So still received no job description whatsoever and how did I just skip the questions bit? Just because I asked a question? I followed the link to book an interview and there are two slots - one for tomorrow at 8:15am and one the day after at 8:15am. That's not exactly office hour and no other options.
I don't know the whole thing seems very weird. I have done many interviews for many companies and I've never had one be as weird as this. I have chosen not to take the second interview because the whole situations seems scammy
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Atlas Collective (New York, NY) in May 2017
Interview
It was very simple. Asked about my background and described the company's goals in future. It is a very basic interview. It lasted for fifteen minutes. It was in their office where I hardly saw 4 employees.
