Received email to schedule appointment for phone screen. When the day arrived, recruiter did not call. When I reached out, the recruiter stated there was an emergency that caused the delay. Had to reschedule for the following week due to recruiter’s booked calendar. 30 minutes before appointment, recruiter sent an email stating that the position was filled and canceled my appointment.

Question 1
Open to traveling for training and open availability M-F including 1-2 Saturdays a month.
Had an interview with the office manager, doctor and regional manager. The office was new so it was only one interview about 30 mins long. Standard interview questions, the office manager at the time was disorganized and again, the office was completely new so they were still getting started.
Interview Experience: The interview itself went really well and felt positive, but the shadowing experience afterward raised concerns. During shadowing, I was left alone at the front desk without guidance, which did not feel appropriate for a candidate observing the role. The tone from the interviewer also felt noticeably different from the interview, much colder and less supportive.
Communication: I was told I would hear back within a week, but several weeks passed without any follow-up or update.
Compensation & Schedule: The role involved long workdays, occasional Saturdays, and very limited PTO (no more than 40 hours per year).
