Current experience fit exactly with the requirements, but the department I worked for overshadowed the experience and skill profile? Didn't make much sense since the job position requested for that type of experience and skills, no matter which department of a business it comes from - that is what a business systems analyst / technology role fits into - it bridges the gap between technology and business. No matter, the interviewer lost interest after that fact came into play. Came to know that other applicants had similar background, and were also not considered - perhaps the job description was poorly written.
