I have applied to this place more times than I can count. You would have thought they were Google or Apple with the amount of rejections I got. But one sweet day, luck (well I thought it was luck) was by my side. I got a notification from Allie, the virtual assistant, for a phone screen invite. I booked it and a day or so later, I had a chat with a recruiter. It went fine, but I was rejected a week later. But that’s not the end of my story. A month after being rejected, I get an invite from Allie about the same job. I scheduled another phone screening. Talked with the same recruiter who didn’t remember talking to me nor could she find her notes on our previous conversation. So after doing the phone screening again, she said I was probably rejected because I didn’t have 5 years of experience. Then why pull my application not once, but twice? Safe to say, I ended up with another rejection for that job.
