      Software Engineer: Web Dev Interview

      Oct 28, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Cupertino, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I spoke with some Apple employees while at a convention and though it did not seem like I had a lead, I was contacted for an interview that night. I had about a 30 minute interview at the convention with who would be my manager, a developer for Marcom that maintains apple.com. There was a few CSS questions (mostly having to do with properties), an easy JS question, and he talked to me a lot about my past work. About two days later I received another request for a Skype interview where I live coded. Though I did not do perfectly, the interviews asked me how I felt about the process and the idea of solving these challenges in a team environment. I did not exactly nail the coding questions, so keep in mind that is not all they are looking for when they interview.
