I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was a series of blasted questions - it felt like an interrogation. It became very clear, ver quickly, that the woman had no intention of hiring me which begs the question - why was she speaking to me at all? She was borderline rude. And no - I'm not a super-sensitive, hold my hand, job applicant. This person had no nuance
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you name the 5 pillars of project management - and she wanted the exactly wording - and then the acronym. It didn't matter that I spoke to all of it - the acronym was essential which is just silly.
Multiple rounds with a panel of 6-8 people as part of the interview process. Recruiters are slow to get back to you and often will ghost you. Even when an offer is imminent it could take a month or 2.
Straightforward but judgmental from the start.
Dive in and wade the water, and hopefully you get to the next question, and then wade that scenario. Overall great experience and enjoyed the process.
Three step process, incredibly smooth and well informed along the way. The interviewers were clearly engaged and polite, and I had a lot of flexibility with timing. It didn't end up working out for unrelated reasons.
