      Apple Genius Interview

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Stamford, CT) in Nov 2016

      Interview

I applied in October of 2016, and heard back the next day to attend one of their Virtual Information Sessions, which basically is an online presentation on the company, what positions are available, etc. Immediately following that, our recruiter told us if we were interested just to email her with some basic info and then we'd set up a phone interview. The phone interview was at the end of that week, which was pretty easy. I pretty much got a guarantee for a one on one at the end of the phone interview. The time between a phone interview and my first interview was longer than I expected; almost 2 weeks. First interview was held by one of the managers, and was extremely casual. I talked about my life, jobs so far, etc. And then some situational questions. But again, very relaxed and easy to answer the questions. Go in there prepared and just be honest and most importantly, be yourself. I got a second interview within that week, I think 2 days after the first. This time it was with the Store Leader. More situational questions, more "about me" stuff, but definitely slightly less casual when it came to conversation. More about figuring out who you are and what kind of team player you are. This was probably the most nerve wracking interview for me personally. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. I thought I was done, but I had one final interview left, and this time it was with the Marketing Leader of the store, and the Store Leader (but he was more there just to listen to us talk). This came about 12 days after the 2nd interview. Almost identical questions as the second time around. I'm telling you, they want a good personality and are looking for people who are friendly, yet good team players. Don't be afraid to sell yourself, but be modest. After the third interview, I had an offer within a few days. Definitely a longer process than I expected. But happy I went through it, and learned a lot!

The process involved an initial application followed by a screening call with a recruiter. This was followed by one or two interviews with team members, focusing on customer service, problem-solving, and cultural fit. The interviewers asked behavioural questions and scenarios related to handling customers and troubleshooting. Overall, the process was structured, professional, and gave a clear understanding of the role expectations.

      Application

      I interviewed at Apple (Vienna)

      Interview
