I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon in Sep 2010
Interview
I applied at Amazon Web site directly, actually didn't expect to get any feedback. But I got a phone call from Seattle that scheduled me for an phone interview. The position is actually not a coding position, they need someone who knows technology but can work between different departments. So the interview process was mostly all behavior questions, which I didn't prepare and answered badly. They asked something like Amazon likes to save costs, do you have any experience to help your organization save the money? and if there are two things both very important, how do you prioritize them?

Very Slow due to constant delays from company side ,but can be worth it if you are confident in your ability to pass the interview process. Patience is key for this.
