      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Luxembourg) in May 2014

      Interview

I applied for this position via Amazon career website. A month later, I received the first phone interview. It was conducted by a HR. 30min interview, questions are standard, such as about personal experience, education, project, are you willing to travel, do you have other offers on hand, given a urgent deadline situation how will you manage it , how will you handle the conflict between your colleagues...

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Sydney)

      Interview

Initial screening done online. Followed with a phone interview. Feedback was difficult to obtain, followed up a number of times and details could not be found. After a few weeks of trying and still no details to be found someone just stated that I was not selected. No details provided as to why, which was quite strange and have not experienced that answer before in my career. They couldn't even confirm my name?!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A substantial amount of questions were based on management style - KPIs, SLAs - Dealing with problems within the team. - Setting objectives - Failures There were also a few technical questions as well, fundamental questions describing DNS, how web sites work, IMCP, tracert. All in all fairly straightforwrad if you have a strong technical and management background.
