I applied online. I interviewed at Airsiders (Berlin)
Interview
Very long case study in a short amount of time. Requiring presentations, data analysis and a P&L. A suggested 5 hours in 72 hours would not put a dent in the required work. Exceptionally vague brief.
If you spend the time needed to complete the task you can be critised for not being efficient. If you put in the recommended 5 hours, you wouldn't have gone the extra mile. The damned if you do, damned if you don't. The right answer to what you are meant to do here would depend on the whims of the assessor.
When they could have simply done a timed 1 hour case study for the top candidates to not waste everyone's time. And be of a sensible scope.
Poor experience with HR. Asked me to do many hours of unpaid work, then rearranged and cancelled meetings, not giving me a fair chance.
Probably my worst job application experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Airsiders (Berlin) in Aug 2023
Interview
First a call with the HR. A week later I had an interview with the design team. They gave me a week to prepare for a whiteboard design challenge. Lastly, an interview with one of the company's executives.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Airsiders in Sep 2022
Interview
First was the introduction interview, I met the recruitment manager, and they asked a couple of questions about my background and checked if I'll be a good fit for the company. then we went on with the coding challenge, which is a take-home assessment project for you'll be asked you build a specific project based on the position you applied for. after my assignment was accepted we continued with the technical interview in which you'll be asked a couple of technical questions within a specific time and you'll solve a particular code problem live.
